Kade
2009 Dodge Caliber. Build me a budget rig. Speakers, amps, and subs. This is the deck I'm using. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/CD-Receivers/FH-P800BT This car fits 6x9s. Just sayin, I cannot tell the quality difference in a round vs oval speaker. I listen to mostly metal. What items do you recommend? 2009 Dodge Caliber SXT (Silver) Deck: Pioneer X3600BHS Amps: RF P1000X5 Front: RF P16-S Rear: RF P1694 Subs: 1 RF P3D2-10 Cabling: Stinger 6 channel RCA, RF 4gauge kit, SkyHighCarAudio 16gauge speaker wire. Broke_Audio_Addict
What's your budget for the budget build? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Kade
What's your budget for the budget build? $500 is where I'd like to keep it. If I have to sacrifice subs for better door speakers, I'll be ok with that. 2009 Dodge Caliber SXT (Silver) Deck: Pioneer X3600BHS Amps: RF P1000X5 Front: RF P16-S Rear: RF P1694 Subs: 1 RF P3D2-10 Cabling: Stinger 6 channel RCA, RF 4gauge kit, SkyHighCarAudio 16gauge speaker wire. Broke_Audio_Addict
What are your goals are you looking for a sq setup or just to be loud? Here is one option http://www.crutchfield.com/p_575R3004/Rockford-Fosgate-Prime-R300-4.html Plus two pairs of these http://www.crutchfield.com/p_575R169X2/Rockford-Fosgate-Prime-R169X2.html Around $300 total so it would leave you enough money to buy all the needed wiring. Kade
Just looking for something clean sounding with a lot of headroom. Not so much SQ. I don't wanna get into the time alignment and massive EQing. I had prime speakers in my previous car. Hated them. Alpine any good? Little more pricey, but the Type-R series looks to be decent. 2009 Dodge Caliber SXT (Silver) Deck: Pioneer X3600BHS Amps: RF P1000X5 Front: RF P16-S Rear: RF P1694 Subs: 1 RF P3D2-10 Cabling: Stinger 6 channel RCA, RF 4gauge kit, SkyHighCarAudio 16gauge speaker wire.
