BoomZoom808
Helping a friend out with his install. Can the Rockford Fosgate P1000X1BD accept high level input using speaker wire to RCA adapters? 2010 Mazda 3s 2.5L Pioneer DEH-X9600BHS Knu OFC 1/0 SS Platinum AGM / XS Power XP750 Alpine PDX F-4 / Morel Maximo 5 + Coax 5 IA 10.1 / SSA XCON
audiofanaticz
Any amplifier can accept high level inputs when your using a specific high to low rca converter like that. The only thing is 95+ percent of those converters are dirty and distorted unless you buy a crazy nice one, but then you might as well just buy a nice headunit instead. BoomZoom808
No no using speaker wire adapters to rca adapters still high level direct from the factory rear speakers not a LOC I know my JL audio slash can and crutchfield says it will work on the X1BD This is what I'm referring to http://www.crutchfield.com/p_136XDCLR2S/JL-Audio-XD-CLRAIC2-SW.html?tp=893 Also the Cache Cloc+d I used before worked great to tap in to the factory rear full range. Trying to avoid messing with the can bus for now. 2010 Mazda 3s 2.5L Pioneer DEH-X9600BHS Knu OFC 1/0 SS Platinum AGM / XS Power XP750 Alpine PDX F-4 / Morel Maximo 5 + Coax 5 IA 10.1 / SSA XCON
audiofanaticz
wow more useless clutter.. chop then ends off some RCA cords and have the same thing... LOL Probably not then since they are made for JL amplifiers, and I would assume the JL amps have some technology to detect the higher input volltage and convert it down. but if the RF amp is saying saying the same thing, im assuming they got some sort of converter too, but either way 10$ for some 6inch rca cords chopped in half is lols... just grab a old pair and do the same thing.
