brent379 Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 ok guys I am going to attempt to upload some pics of what I have gotten done so far. not very impressive and really just getting started on it but im pretty proud of what I have done so far!!!! any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I got a 2013 wrx 4dr sedan and so far I got my dc power 270xp and xspower d3400 in with obviously the big three done....sky high ofc 0gauge and all soldered copper lugs...and for the box I got 4 sundown sd 10s going to be ran off a soundqube 2200d at 1 ohm...box is about 4.3-4.5 cubes after all displacements tuned to 33hz...I got some 6 inch pvc pipe and flared out my own aero ports!! its definitely not as good as it could be BUT it was my first time ever doing it so I feel pretty good about it!! and for mids and highs....nothing special at all lol just one set of infinity reference 6030cs 6.5 comps ran off my pioneer head unit for now until I have the balls to attempt fiberglassing my own door panels lol. i got 40sqft of secondskin damplifier showing up tomorrow so box will be in and playing next weekend. if these pics upload weird or anything i apologize but ive never been good at uploading pics! and if there are any fellow subie owners out there with any questions on any problems ive ran into doing this feel free to ask me questions!

brent379 Posted June 24, 2013 Author Report Posted June 24, 2013 I got a heat gun and metal bowl and heated up the pipe and pushed on it and got it to sart the flare. Then once I got the size of lip I wanted I let it cool then reheated it on a flat surface and formed it to make the 90. It sounds easier then it is. Especially for a first timer lol you just got to work it! And thanks guys!! No voltage drop is exactly what I was going for! I've been researchin for ears and have asked a million questions on here and finally get to out it all to use! I can't wait to hear it! Hope it sounds good lol and ya I will take some more pics of the car for ya once I get her all clean again!!
