Lol, my build blows in comparison to Karkov's bow28.gif.pagespeed.ce.sUBeeCi_2p.gif

Sorry for the thread jack man, carry on!

No worries and thank you thank you thank you!!

Hoping you go active instead of using the passive crossovers. My passive crossovers always introduced light distortion at higher volumes. And got hot. Fed them only 75watts when my RF Components are rated at 80watts -_- . Went active, they sound crisp and clear and even louder. All set up with a DD-1 as well...

Loving the build, all the equipment. What I would do to have the opportunity to drop all that money on something. I sure would be frustrated if it wasn't working out as well. Best of luck

Already did go active, already noticed a difference going active, seems a little louder and wider range of frequencies or something, idk, just sounds.....better With crossovers hooked up no matter what I did on amp they sounded harsh and the X-overs just blocked out so much mid frequencies for the mids. Going active made it sound fuller, and can be turned up louder with less distortion AND sounds better. Got these 4 crossovers sitting here and nothing to do with them, lol, coasters in the house perhaps? lol, jk, or am i? I bought a mids/highs amp that has enough power for 2 more sets of comps. Right now my comps are rated at 125x4 wired into 250 x 2 which is perfect for the front channel of amp. I did wire them to 300+ watts RMS each set instead of 125 but got scared and wired them back. Sounded good though, lmao i didn't see how hot mine got but did set everything with DD-1

unless you got two weak t2500s, those will put out more power than a crescendo 5500

Nah, they aint weak, both in the 3k's for birthsheets, just trying to simplify things for the time being. I can always throw both T2500's back in or whatever I want, just playing around with equipment for now =)

EGH! that's not gonna work, even with a clamshell it would leave absolutely no room for anything but sub enclosure. Facing each other 4 on each side is about the only way they would even fit but then it'd have to be 4th order or something and again NO room for batts, amps, etc. etc. etc. etc.

oh well

got it out right now, keep telling myself now is the time to do something different if i want to.

you planning on using those dual 1/0 inputs on the T2500's? I've got some from Project DB that look a little smaller and they're even really close together on those amps. He said he was working on some for the RF power series amps that would have a spot for the remote wire a while back but haven't heard anymore on them and he hasn't answered me back yet.

No, sorry they are not for the RF amps. Gotta figure 1 amp with dual inputs will eat up the 4 similar ones you see and 1 DC amp either 9k or 10k will eat up the other 6 so really it's not that many dual inputs.
