Karkov
2 runs of 1/0 OFC ran to back and through grommets in previous post, followed the frame rail and factory wires front to back, used zip ties, driver side (opposite of exhaust), and left plenty of extra. Then got to adding damp pro to interior panels as I put them back in Then a brief comparison of factory speakers in front doors to RF T3's that are going in. the factory speaker basket is one huge piece, seemed odd, you can see what I mean in pics... 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. Karkov
Passenger door Again, 2 sheets damp pro inside the door Again, 1 sheet damp pro on near side of passenger door, same as driver door Used about 1.33 sheets of damp pro on inside of door panel on passenger side as opposed to only 1 sheet on drivers side Speakers mounted up in door panel AND kick panel and wires ran to back hidden I like a nice clean and simple look and I think i was able to accomplish that here, what do you guys think? The grills for the mids are black and I want to install them to prevent anyone from accidently putting their foot through them but I am thinking about painting the grills to match the interior of the Tahoe. You would still see the black surround and outside ring of the mid and the tweet would still be black but i think with factory color grills on the mids it would really dress it up and not make it stand out like a sore thumb so much. What do you guys think I should do? Black grills? Grey/interior color grills? 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq.
