DylanBunch Posted June 28, 2013 Author Report Posted June 28, 2013 i had a t2 12 that i had a similar issue with. had it in a 3-3.5 cuft box ( dont remember for sure ) tuned to around 40hz. turned out it was a blown coil and i didnt realize it until i put a t1500.1 on it (big mistake in such a big box but live and learn) burnt that sub up real bad but oddly enough it was playing for a good 2-3 months like that until i put it in a 2cuft box tuned to 40hz slot port. after about 3 months in that box it started smoking like crazy. got it warrantied. the local shop i got it from just traded me out as rockford tech told them to. thats my own exp but was in way to big of a box for the power i was running. might not be the same issue your having but if it is i hope the place you got it from will warranty it. alaskanzx5 Posted June 28, 2013 Report Posted June 28, 2013 well those subs are suggest at a 3.75cuft box slot port by rockford. 2.5 with round ports. it might be blown and if you didnt get it from a authorized dealer you would be sol. rockford might fix it still but most likely at a price. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

I only see 2.75 and 3.25. anyways, I guess ill just play it by year, its not from an authorized dealer **puts gun in mouth** so I guess ill just play it till it fucks up and then hit up fixmyspeaker.
