Suicide P Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 I bought a 2008 civic today and the guy said the system was like 5000 dollars. I laughed and ignored it because it was just 2 little 8" in a sealed enclosure on 2 300 watt amps. So looked up the subs and amps and can't find a thing on them really. If anyone could tell me if this junk or what. (2) 8" Phoenix gold xs series (1 blown) (2) Zapco Model Z300C2-SLX (Both green lights on) I played them for a little bit but they were honestly really quiet. (AMPS GOT PRETTY WARM) They were on 4 gauge wire and all this was installed by a local car audio shop. pic -

87chevyboi Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 looks to me like an sq build possibly and not an spl build...Its quiet because for one its only on 300 watts but it is made for sound quality and not sound pressure My build aka Snow White whats wrong with fat chicks? they are like mopeds, as long as your friends dont see you riding it, they are a blast! hahah I am dumb as a stump. I live in the south and we are all dumb here.

Plus, look at the size of that cabinet. Whoever had that built didn't want loud bass, they wanted to reinforce bass below 45hz that the door speakers couldn't produce. I bet you could port that cabinet and get some stupid out of it. Not much, but some. That system is all SQ and no SPL, by design. EDIT: Below 60, I meant....
