hdc3 making popping noise after 2 min of playing

Recommended Posts

It could be something in your ride flexing and making the noise . I've had this happen alot and it will sound like a sub going bad. Check your box also make sure nothing's coming apart

i sheetrock screwed everything down in my truck lol. maybe i could have broke something.

werid i was just bumping and it wasnt making that noise again. i really think it has to do with heat out side ?

I've noticed that on a hotter day subs are way looser compared to cooler days. So when it's hot the sub could be moving more an moving more air causing something to rattle in the truck or car. My dash did this an I swear it sounded like the subs behind me. Weirdest shit to be honest how sounds bounce around like that. I would turn it up full tilt till you hear it and then start pushing around on things to pin point it. Hopefully it's not coil rub it anything. But if it is recone time lol I would let em loosen some before you tear off in to them full power.

This is true my dash will start to flex and on certain notes it sounds like a bad sub or something funny, but if you put your hands on the dash and push down the sound goes away, take you hands off sound comes back.
