Has anyone done a starter in an Explorer? i went under it andlooked at it and it seems that everythign is a pain in the ass to get to thanks to the a arm being in the way of every bolt, anyone changed one of these or know how much im looking at to get one installed for me?

I'm not lookin for exact numbers just a ballpark of what i should be looking at paying.

I have a 2000 Explorer and mine was going to be 225 with labor, but I did it myself and it wasn't too hard and I think we should have the same set-up.

Before and the hardest part was probably doing that, well I have pretty big hands so it was more difficult, plus after I installed it one of the wires ripped off, so that was shitty, but getting the starter out was easy.

Oh and make sure if you buy the Starter from a shop, (which I did because it was cheaper), make sure you don't get the starter from an Audi, because thats what they gave me at first haha.
