AI James Posted February 21, 2008 Report Share Posted February 21, 2008 Has anyone done a starter in an Explorer? i went under it andlooked at it and it seems that everythign is a pain in the ass to get to thanks to the a arm being in the way of every bolt, anyone changed one of these or know how much im looking at to get one installed for me? REVOK1NER Posted February 21, 2008 Report Share Posted February 21, 2008 Before and the hardest part was probably doing that, well I have pretty big hands so it was more difficult, plus after I installed it one of the wires ripped off, so that was shitty, but getting the starter out was easy. Oh and make sure if you buy the Starter from a shop, (which I did because it was cheaper), make sure you don't get the starter from an Audi, because thats what they gave me at first haha.
