95neon_thumper82 Posted July 7, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 7, 2013 So how HARD did you push it? ami obviously too far... but a pushed a two ohm load and got what probably wasn't even close to 300 watts on two bridged channels out of a dual xpe 4700 model. I'd do it again and infact i left the option open for incase I need to use it. but you aren't supposed to run two ohm loads on the amp when you're bridging but I did and it smelled bad so I backed it down before it spontaneously combusted my ride but I have a new amp coming and I'm sure I will have no want or need to push this one... it was a lol more spendy and its plenty powerful for the purpose I bought it for:D <img src=http://i1332.photobucket.com/albums/w610/beastly666bassboy/IMG_9611192581855_zps9b9b76be.jpg border=0 alt= height="75" width="800"> Growing old is necessary... growing up is an option! At 2ohms you are probably getting 100X2 and at 4ohms you are probably getting 50X2. Bridged power is probably 100X1 @ 4ohms. Maybe, but i doubt even that.
