Building The Best.....Repairing The Rest The bitter after-taste of a poor quality job will last far longer than the sweetness of that cheap price!

A shop can get a bag kit for a s10 starting at $800 4 link $300 bracket kit for $250 and thats if they buy it and not fabricate the brackets links and cross members them selfs. They then get about $1,000 in labor. The skys the limit tho you add a KP link and art A arms and your gonna pay $$$$$$$ plus its extra to pull your inner fenderwells and fill the gaping hole in your bed.
sully Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 Parts alone on a good bag job are easily $2500 to $3000, I've got almost $5k in parts on my truck. 4 Viair 480's, slam RE6 and RE7, belltech spindles, djm upper and lower control arms, dakota digital ride height controller, parker valves, brass compression fittings, suicide doors superlift triangulated 4 link, custom fuel cell, grant tranny x-member; the list goes on and that is just to lay frame! You can have a truck bagged for $2500 parts and labor but chances are you are going to hate the ride. Do it right the first time, especially don't go cheap on compressors and use SLAM SPECIALTIES bags! BTW, I love the build! firefighter5325 Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 oh yea i know i have asked it once but did you raise the tranny tunnel it still looks like it has not been raised or am i missing something. damnit i need a shop all i have got on mine sofar is the interior striped out and the firewall shaved.
