Been a big follower of Steve and SMD on YouTube so thought I'd put up a little build thread of my current whip. I own a 2001 Ford Focus. I'm now on my second install - all the work done by a good friend of mine who's just amazing when it comes to building sound system's. I wont go through the entire build process at the moment (I do have all the pictures, just need to put it together when I get more time ). So here's the car as it currently stands along with the install. It has been set up for sound quality rather than pure bass and in my opinion sounds awesome (but of course I would say that )...**please excuse the dragster stance, the new wheels are very wide on the back (9.5's) and I had to try and raise it due to rubbing - this caused one adjuster to break meaning I had to get some standard springs fitted literally the day before one of the biggest shows here in the UK. This will be sorted soon with a new set of coilovers and arch-rolling - Also, the back does light up however I haven't taken any evening/night pics of the install as of yet** ^^Fully airbrushed and lamborghini pearl orange smoothed-dashboard. All of my equipment is Lanzar audio - amp, sub, speakers. Wheels are Auto Strada Modena's, re-drilled to fit - genuine 3-piece Ferrari wheels So that's how it currently looks and here's the previous look and install... alaskanzx5 Posted July 13, 2013 Report Posted July 13, 2013 nice looking focus, lots of work put into that. if you havent yet check out focusfanatics. its a great ford focus forum. tons of info on the car there. not so much for the ones on your side of the world but still a lot of people that would love seeing these pics plus more. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

Its taken 4 years to get it to this stage and I'm kinda falling out of love for it a bit due to having so many problems these last few months. But hay-ho. Gonna finish it. I'm also going to be getting a Ford Ka (**see pic below if you're not aware of what it is**) as a daily to take the Phokus off the road to fix it all and get it back up to scratch. Its extremely basic, but its free. After I'm done with the Phokus, its being split for parts and I'll get a diesel tourer (possibly an Audi A4 or BMW 5-series), at which point I'm either turning the Ka into a track toy or I'll be building a nice wall and making it loud So, watch this space **The Ka (mine looks exactly like this but true Ford, more rusty...)
