skappascrap Posted January 15, 2014 Author Report Posted January 15, 2014 Jeebus, long time no update! Sold the little M1C last year and currently borrowing a DD M3, more power!! Deadened the roof, solid as a rock! Started planning the rebuild for 2014 so I'll keep it short and sweet. 2 18's on a 8.5k, big battery bank and no back seat, NO WALL! Also got a new personal best with the DD M3, 148.7, getting closer to that 150, I can taste it! Some recent pics.. Heavy duty springs, I'll be needing them! Roof stripped off. Gap filler for all the braces, definitely helped. Finished 1 layer and thought that was enough, certainly was! All back together with a new roof lining, $28 later in perfect condition from the wreckers Representing Shok Industries! Bought some Audible Physics NZ3A/AT widebanders for cheap, will be going in sealed pods and a rough idea where they will go Thanks for looking!

Went to Hungry Jacks to get a coke, just down the road my battery light goes on, lose power steering and my temperature gauge was going up, thought "shit lost the belt". Pull over and saw the pulley with half of the ball bearings and just generally dead to the World.

Cheers man, I'm in the "close" group of pros over in the SA scene so help is plentiful from everyone, without them I wouldn't be where I am today

skappascrap Posted March 13, 2014 Author Report Posted March 13, 2014 May think about trying 3 way active/passive and just running the tweeters from the headunit with a crossover or resistor (don't really know how it works just yet).Still over the moon with how it sounds at the moment, stage height stays the exact same whether the seat is in SQ Mexican position or daily driving position
