Hello all, new I the site. And have a couple of questions. I'm building a system for my 07 tahoe and was planning on putting two componet sets in( 1 in front doors and 1 in rear) an was wandering do I need to use a 4 channel to power both of them or can I use a two channel? Thinking about going with focal 165 v30 polyglass any other suggestions would greatly help

Yes a 4ch

You want something around 75rms x4 @4ohm

How much are you looking to spend

Just from the speaker the price we no what you are willing to spend there

If you want the most out of you system

Idd replace the factory head unit

Start off with a 4 or 5ch amp and some good door speakers

Side note

What do you want to achieve

they are polyglasses, that amps more then enough for them quality wise and power wise.

if you want more and ab circuitry id look at the audison av series amps. Or look at Mosconi's line as well.

Post everything you have now and what you plane to keep from that

If you plane on doing a head unit idd do that first

Until we no what you have it's hard to say what you will need

But 2 alt's to me means 2x runs of 0g to back,

Atleast 1 34 or 3100 up front and 2x 3100 in rear

But as states we need all the info or you'll just be getting the wrong info in returne

Right now I have the dc Dual alt set up, the 4 w6 12s, and 2 mmats 1600.1. Future plans are 2 sets of focal 165 v30 polyglass, and some kind of 4 channel, (was looking at fosgate 4 channel) run of zero gauge to the back and of course the double din head unit and the two batteries under the hood
