N9neMillahhh
I have a Deka Intimidator and an NVX XHC600 in the back, with the Big 3 done and two runs of 1/0 power OFC cable, with two grounds of course too, an a Singer 250A alternator, and I'm getting a couple Zv4 10s , so I want to run an SAZ3500 but idk if I should run it at 1 ohm or if everything would be fine at .5 ohm. RooTxBeeR
I'd say add in another pos/neg run, throw 2-4 Batts on reserve and you should be good for 1 ohm. then if you want to do .5 ohm, double up on everything basically Quote On 11/20/2012 at 8:54 PM, AMI CUSTOMS said: Turned mine up today at a light, guy next to me his steering wheel started moving and he looked over at me like I was a magician lol. Lol That's more than I have for my 750.1OP you will be fine with the two runs of positive and the batts you have now. You'll probably drop to 13's at .5 if I was to take a wild guess. (Assuming your alternator is true to it's amperage.) N9neMillahhh
It's pretty damn close yeah. But it should all be fine at .5 then? Karkov
People run a hell of a lot more on what your current set up is. Get what you want and watch your voltage after. I wouldn't add any more wires or alt's. If your voltage drops more than you like then just add 1 battery in the rear at a time till it doesn't anymore. I am running 7900+ (according to birth sheets alone, so up for debate) RMS watts from 1 - 370 alt, 2 runs OFC 1/0 gauge, and 3 aftermarket batteries (2 under hood and 1 in back). If i don't like my voltage i simply plan on adding more batteries to the rear.. EDIT: I should add that my sub amps are at 2 ohms and highs/mids amp at 1 ohm. N9neMillahhh
Should I add another NVX or replace the one I have for a bigger one? RooTxBeeR
I didn't realize you meant you had 2 pos/neg, that is good. But what you must realize, the NVX batt is only 22ah, I do not know what the deka is, but that is a smallllll battery bank. along with that, the alt itself I don't think would be able to power that amp by itself at 1 ohm. And you want to try at .5, which is basicaly doubling it's resistance. I don't know who said that would drop to 13's, I think it would drop a lot lower than that. I can't remember where, but there was a max equation that is very simple that you can use to figure out how much aH you will require to suffiecntly power what ever current draw you have. Also, your not only going to have that 3500 watt amp are you? I bet your also going to have a 4 channel that is going to be pulling 20-40 amps of current draw itself along with the 300-400 the sub amp will. Please if anyone is for sure im wrong here, let me know how and why. Edit: Look at Karkov's sig, he is running 2 T2500bd amps, around 5-6k in power right there. Has a 370A alt and 1 mega huge batt, and 2 decent sized batts. Nikkita, let me know how your electrical is on that, your alt will only be able to power half of what your need will be, what size are those 3 batts? Because if they aren't big, I bet youll only be able to run full tilt for a small amount of time.
