Amp for SA Neo Pro 8 x2

Here's a rundown of my what my set-up is;

2 Fi Bl 18's running on 2 Kicker ZX2500.1's

2 SA Neo Pro 8's running on ??????

I have this all in a 2003 Cavalier LS Coup

Now I need to know, what should I run the 2 SA Neo Pro's on?

Should I stick with my Kicker ZX line or move over to the Sundown 125.2?

I know that the ZX2500.1's are downright great amps, but I have no experience with Sundown amplifiers.

Both are easily in my price range so that's not an issue.

Any advice here is greatly appreciated!

Also will 2 Neo Pros be enough for these subs?

Both amps are great. I'd be concerned less with which amp and more with the tweeters to go with those 8's... Yes they will most likely be loud enough..

But some people have different definitions of loud enough mids and highs for their bass, que carbons build. I wouldn't sit inside that car if I was paid with all those mids and highs.

Alright, Not so much intended to be a vs. thread, I'll go back and change that. Totally forgot that's frowned upon.

By loud enough I mostly mean, Will I be able to clearly hear the mid's and up over the bass?

And that also raises the question, What should I do about tweeters also?

u can use what ever tweet ur budget desires man. the vocals will deff get much louder to keep up with the subs. as for amps both amps are great. most like to keep things matching but in the audio world the more u try the more u have in ur favorite audio check list. u can use one 4 ch to run it all 2 of the channels to the 8's and the other 2 channels to the tweets.

If I ran 4 channels, 2 to the tweets, would I respectively need 100 watt tweeters?

No if you had a 4ch that puts out 100 watts at 4 ohms... Lets say you get 4ohm neo 8's to run a single woofer on each channel. 1&2

Then you need tweeters and you have ch3&4 open. Easy right? Well 100 watts blows most tweeters instantly. Unless you get 8ohm tweeters, then your ch 3&4 will only get maybe 50 watts because of the added resistance. Also you can give them even less watts by keeping the gain lower then it would be "properly set"

Edit IMO you will be fine on clarity and loudness with 2 neo 8's and 2 super tweeters on a 4ch. Unless you decide to double or quad your power, and double or quad your woofers then you should be fine. Normally in my experience you can hear a pair of neo 8's and some super tweets (one set per door) up to about 148-150db.

Just my experience, had two neopros 6.5" model on 55wrms, and they where loud as hell, and sounded good crossed down to 50hz. On mor epower I wouldnt cross them super low, but I bet they would take 100wrms all day crossed to 50 like I had them, I bridged 170w off my two front chennels on to one jus tto try it, handled it like a champ and was ridiculous loud for a 6.5, but midbass was gone and I had to cross at 100hz. Just my experience and 2c.

If you are worried about tweets, run multiples or higher impedance like sword said.

My set up is easily going to be running 50-52 daily. That's why I was unsure if they would be enough. Also how do I wire in the Tweeters, will I need a crossover or is there another way to do it?

get an amp or headunit that has the built in crossovers to run active, or run the tweeters on a passive crossover like crescendo sells. I would wathc the gain though....that much power on tweets is alot.
