orion hcca 12"

Recommended Posts

If it's $470 brand new, that's an alright price, pretty sure I saw that hifisoundconnection had a sale on them for $3xx. Fatbox.com sells an enclosure for a single 12" for $250. Audio Enhancer TX320 slot ported single 12" enclosure would probably work well. And you could check out davetheboxguy.com and get a quote for what you need.

thanks for the help .. i see you are running the mtx 9500's how do u like them ? i had an 8500 15" that thing was bad ass lol till i got my fosgate t2 15".. i find that the 15's are a grate but space is tight in a pt lol .. im just looking to get the best bang for my buck .. i was also looking at audioque hdc4 line and RE audio xxx subs but i want to stay under 500 dollars per sub . i figured 2 12's would work nice ..

I've had all 3 MTX 9500's for the last like 5 years. I had one of them in my 1996 Chevy Impala SS, and EVERYONE who heard it thought I had 2 15's. They are beasts, I've been a fan of MTX ever since I started working at Circuit City in 2003. Finally got around to putting all of them to use when I got my Yukon, and I love them! I'd love to find somebody with an SUV with 2 - 18's to see how my 3 - 12's compare. I've seen the HCCA 12's and 15's in action... they are MONSTERS, you should get super flex and excursion in the right box. I'm sure you can find tons of videos on YouTube to support that. When my 9500's finally give out... I was thinking of replacing them with HCCA's or a couple 18's. I'd contact hifisoundconnection to see how long it would take for them to re-stock that item, shows out of stock on their website. But I've mainly shopped on sonicelectronix.com, techronics.com, woofersetc.com and onlinecarstereo.com, I got 90% of my stuff for rides on these sites (minus what I bought through my employee accommodations program (ie. DEEP discounts through manufacturers like 30-40% of retail price, meaning 60-70% OFF of MSRP)), the other 10% I bought off Amazon or Ebay. I shopped for specifically what I needed, searched each website, did a spreadsheet, found the best prices for each item and built my "carts".

1994 Mazda RX7 with LS1 Swap and 2 - 10" Kicker L7's in Truck Boxes (because of extremely limited hatch space)

2003 GMC Yukon XL with 3 - 12" MTX 9500's and still has the third row seat (over 7.5 cu ft of enclosures behind third row)

1971 Chevrolet Nova with LS1 Swap (work in progress, most likely 4 - 12" Alpine Type R's as I already have them)

1961 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod with LS7 Swap (system upgrade will be one of the first things that I'll do)

Solo Basshead For The Most Part, None Of My Close Friends Have A Passion For It, Nor The Money For It. If I'm Home And Free... Onlinecarstereo has the Orion HCCA122 The New Model (Black Cone, not Silver) for $449. I shopped through them for a lot of what I bought for my systems, quick shipping, no issues with what they sent.
