randyman78596 Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 yo whats goin on fellas? my buddy hooked me up with a digital designs 10" 2500 series ' 2510' and its been sittin for months collecting a thick film of dust so im wanting to build an enclosure for it to bump the dust off .. its an older 2510 manufactured in 2007 , single 4 ohm voice coil but the thing is like new besides the dust...i listen to mostly rock/techno and soooometimes rap. i saw DD has box plans for their subs on their website but wanted to know what u guys think before i build it or if you have any better enclosure ideas for it..i have a whole 4x8 sheet of MDF to work with..thanks for any replies in advance! randy
Joe X Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 What vehicle and amp will you be using? DD boxes are tuned rather high like around 40 Hz, ok for rock but you may want to seek a little lower tuning to help with low tuned music like rap.

randyman78596 Posted July 31, 2013 Author Report Posted July 31, 2013 your reffering to a ported enclosure correct??im looking to do a t-line for this sub, the fs for this one is around 33hz and im trying to figure out how to design a t-line for it. been reading around but its hard to gather up the info on how to calculate it. maybe someone here can throw down some info for me
