thegr8cody
I have decided to run ab xfl subs for my next build. I heard they like small enclosures. But I also heard they like large enclosures? I havent decided on what I wanna run yet as far as size goes. Was leaning towards some 12's. Feel free to chime in with what you've had your subs in and how they performed. 10's 12's or 15's 1998 gmc sierra h/u:eclipse cd3200 sub:dd9518g d1.5 amp:jl e300/4 sub amp:dd m2a front stage:id ctx65cs dc power 270 alt lots of kicker 1/
sbg
I have AB TNT 12s right now in 4.5ft^3 @ 30hz. and love them! I have not had the xfl yet but soon. I know alot if people runing the xfl, I got a friend that has 2 15s on a ddm3 in 6.5ft^3 in a Honda hatch, doing 151 db on the dash. Best 200$ subs you can get IMO. Far as box goes bigger with higher tuning is what I have seen them like. Something like 2. -2.5 per @35hz. I know when I first got my TNTs I had them in 2.5ft^3 @34hz and they just souned to tight. But got a bit louder then my box now. Because of the higher tune. 01 focus se 110 amp alt Big 3 sky high and stinger hpm ofc 1/0 Super start platinum AGM (starting) 2 runs of 1/0 Execution audio front to back Kenwood double DIN DDx271 A pillars- orion 4" super tweeter and 2-1" alpines. Omega5002
My buddy who's an AB dealer told me the xfl's actually like big ported boxes since they are a low qts woofer. Think he told me that the10's like 1.5 to 1.75 each12's like around 2.5 each15's like around 4.5 eachMy other buddy has an Xfl 10' on a cheap Audiopipe 1500 in a Ranger single cab, and it's the best sounding and loudest 10' I ever heard, and did a 141.1 on stock electrical, think little more with the big 3 I helped him do.Actually planning on getting the 15's myself 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
