SnowDrifter
^^And crimping doesn't mean with a bench vice / pliers / hammer. It means with closed ended copper crimp lugs and a 8 ton+ hydraulic crimper ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
trent420
Yea man, I know it'll make everything easier in the long run. I'm trying to do it right the first time. I'm having an audio shop put it all in so I'm sure they have a crimper. I know enough To know I need a professional to install all this shit! I'd rather pay a little more and have it done right. Thanks for all your help. Thus forum has answered many questions for me recently. I would have things all messed up if it weren't for you guys! SnowDrifter
Trying not to burst your bubble, but what professional shop are you using? It's pretty easy to do yourself. I ask because I've seen way more "professionals" doing stuff WRONG lately than I'm comfortable with. And if you are taking it to a shop, why are you worrying about ring terminals? ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

trent420
Because I ordered all the "stuff" myself. It was half the price. They sell 0ga for $7 a foot. I'm going to stereo innovations in waynesville NC. I went by there yesterday and talked to the installer that will be doing it and he knew his shit.
