ChevyBoy95 Posted August 1, 2013 Report Posted August 1, 2013 1/0 CCA has more amp carrying capacity than 4 ga OFC. 1/0 CCA = 200-250a (depending on size 4400, 4704, 5200) 1/0 OFC = 250-300a (" ") 4ga CCA = 100a 4ga OFC = 150a i would suggest.... 1/0 CCA = <2000wrms (2000 and down) 1/0 OFC = 3000wrms (then double up at 3500+) 4 ga CCA = <1000wrms 4 ga OFC = 1500wrms edit: 1/0 CCA is barely more expensive than 4ga OFC, so you might want to go with 1/0CCA with the higher carrying capacity.
