walwalka
It only pops on the off, when it turns on the amp will click its relay and start outputting nice clean signal. My deck seems to be ok because it happens when the rcas are unplugged. I'm really thinking it something with the amp. 2010 Honda Civic LX / Deck: Kenwood DDX371 / Front Highs: Crescendo RTS-1 / Front Mids: Silver Flute 6.5's / 4 channel: DC Audio 90.4 / Sub: Fi 15in SP4v2 / Sub amp: Taramps HD 5000 / Power wire: Knukonceptz OFC 1/0 / Deadener: Audio Technix 60 mil / Batteries: XS Power D5100R / Rear bank: TBD / Alternator: Singer 240a hairpin
Colin - STAPUFT
So to be clear- is the sound coming from the amp or through the speakers? Or both?I've had 2 different models of Hifonics Brutus amps and the amps themselves do click- it is an internal relay or something similar. 12 - 12"s in the STAY PUFT 1989 Chevy Astro Build & Comment Log Un-Interrupted Build LogYouTube Channel Chevy Trailblazer 5.1 Dolby Digital DTS Install You have a beard of a mysterious sea captain. walwalka
I'm going to try and record it tomorrow for you guys to here. It's definitely a click from the relay in the amp on both turn on and turn. When turning off it makes a "pop" from the woofer as well. It's a very soft pop though. 2010 Honda Civic LX / Deck: Kenwood DDX371 / Front Highs: Crescendo RTS-1 / Front Mids: Silver Flute 6.5's / 4 channel: DC Audio 90.4 / Sub: Fi 15in SP4v2 / Sub amp: Taramps HD 5000 / Power wire: Knukonceptz OFC 1/0 / Deadener: Audio Technix 60 mil / Batteries: XS Power D5100R / Rear bank: TBD / Alternator: Singer 240a hairpin
