Well long story short. I just bought two dual one ohm Hdc3 subs. They came with a slot ported box the kid built. 6 cu.ft. tuned to 36 Hz. Anyways hooked them up in my ext. Dodge truck. Wired to 1 ohm. Didn't seem to strong at all. Only running one dd2mb. Volts were 13.8 dropping to 12.0-12.5

Stock 130 amp alt. Big 3. Two new deep cycle batts. 0 gauge wire.

So anyways we clamped it. Kinda let down. On digital multimeter it was 62v. On clamp meter it held at 21v. Which equals 1302 watts. But it equals to 2.95 ohms for boxrise. We tested on a 50hz. Burp. Does that power seem right? Even with boxrise. And 12-12.5v?

So I'm guessing a new box? Just figured the amp would push harder. Thanks for any input.

Rated "1,700W x 1ch @ 1 ohm @ 12v"

You got 1,300 @ 3 ohms @ 12v. Yeah... you got near the 1 ohm rating at 3 ohms. How f'n strong did you want it to be?

The one thing that's troubling is the ACV. 62v on a 2k is high as shit. How did you set it?

The ac on the meter was set at 250v. I believe it had a 250 or 750 ac voltage setting.
