milleranp Posted August 11, 2013 Report Posted August 11, 2013 looking to do a bed cut in my F-350 crew cab with the level 6. right now i have it in place of my back seats in a box tuned to 30 hz ran off of 2 M3a DD amps straped. output is not bad but i know there is more left in it. Here is my question. with 6500 watts going to it in a blow through.....what tuning should i build the new box to and/or should i look at doing a 4th order box? i feel like the 30 hz im tuned at now is a little low where my box is at now in the truck (port up sub up). thanks in advance

CJ18 Posted August 19, 2013 Report Posted August 19, 2013 With a blowthrough I would stick with what you have, I think the response will change vs what you have now. 5.5ft3 per sub and tune to 30hz with 15in2 per ft3.
