1dirtylowhoe Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 I've got 1/0 power wire and ground going to two distrobution blocks in the rear and I was wandering if I need to continue to run the 1/0 from the blocks to the amps or can I use 4 gauge from the blocks to the amps which are about two foot away

1dirtylowhoe Posted August 14, 2013 Author Report Posted August 14, 2013 I know 1 for a fact takes 4awg but the other two I believe could take 1/0 .I mean I could run 1/0 to all and just use those reducers from 1/0 to 4
RooTxBeeR Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 If the amp takes 1/0 then use 1/0 on that amp. If the other amps need 4awg, then use 4awg on those. Don't forget to fuse between the Dist block and the amps. If you have good voltage in your remote wire then run it to the first amp and make jumpers from amp to amp. My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.
RooTxBeeR Posted August 15, 2013 Report Posted August 15, 2013 ^^^what he said. And the relay your talking about is a turn on relay kit. Tony at CE auto supply sells them for a good price.
