I have decided to build a ported box for my two 15 in solobaric L7s. I am going to go with the vented SQ design in the kicker sub manual, and i was wondering if it would be better to make two separate chambers and a port each, or should i make them in one chamber with a single port?

Right, either way will work. It's really just up to you, each way has advantages and disadvantages. Personally I too prefer a common chamber, especially if the subs will share a common load. Meaning they are wired together. But some people prefer to keep them separate, in case one sub fails, so it won't damage the other sub, and each chamber can be used separate.

The subs will be wire together at 2 ohms. I am going to make them in a common chamber but i still have to figure out if im going to make 1 or 2 ports, and i need to figure out how to make a port tuned to 33hz.

In the manual it says the port needs to be 3.5 inches wide x 16.25 inches tall x 13.75 inches deep, but thats only for one chamber. Should i just add them together and make one?
