81000D Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 Well I bought a sundown sa-15d4 from woofers ect.com in march and always had it slandered mounted. I went to invert mount it and found the whole surround cone and spider to be off center to the point I can't invert mount it without rub. I have had a sundown e-12 and e-15 and have never had this problem . I really. Don't know if it affects the sound or not but I know it isn't right. I love sundown audio and am in no way bashing them so don't think that! What should I do? Quote

sundownz Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 I'm not sure I understand what you are describing; typically any oddity would be caught in the QC process... and a massive degree of off-centering would typically cause coil ticking or some other functional issue.
