5 d3100's sounds like a bit overkill to me for a bc5500 and t600 unless your gonna run that 5500 at a dumb low impedance. I'm running 2 bc5500's and a c1100.4 on 5 d3100's, a kinetik hc1800 under the hood, and a 200 amp alt. I never see below 12v. I'd recommend starting with 2 d3100's and go from there. Keep a close eye on your voltage and if its dropping to low add another d3100.

What are you wired to at the amps? How long can you play before you see 12v?
Each amp is wired to 1 ohm and how long I can play depends on the frequency. 40hz and up it holds steady around 13.4v below 40hz I stay in 12s the whole song.
