bump. Still waiting on a answer on whether to run the D3100 over the XP3000. So I will be fine with 2 batteries and what king of voltage numbers will I see?

you will want your D4800 as a starter, and either 2 D3100's, or 2 XP3000's in the rear. In total, 3 batteries.

Which is better the d3100 or the xp3000. Also would you have an idea of what my voltage would be with a total of 2 batteries and 3 batteries.
