Thoughts on this 3 HDC3 15's box?

What are your thoughts? current one is 10.5-11 cubic feet, tuned to about 34 with 2 8in aeros. Even with probably 5-6krms, i cant get them to max excursion (full potential in my mind).

Hopefully want to play 28-50hz well.

You won't get max excursion from subs in a shared environment. If you want maximum excursion, build two different chambers.

Wave breaks perhaps?

So, my info was wrong. I re-read the document that I was getting my info from(loudspeaker cookbook) and JUST realized that it's half the excursion for a 2 woofer CLOSED box setup. Sorry for that.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

So, in brief, my answer sucked.

Lets see if I CAN help. I'm curious, you have 3 common walls entered, but the height doesn't seem to match up the to total box height. Almost 200" of port looks good to me, and the extra couple of cubes should help with efficiency.

port is drivers side up, subs up on the rest of the top.

Box should work out a lot better than the current box, definitely a lot more port, which will help because the subs have a lot of xmax, and vent mach is with in good range, so control will be there too, so you should have no issue playing 28-50hz, and break your 150.

Hence the 20.5" and the 22" that makes sense. I agree, it should be a damn good box. This is in an extended cab right?
