Looking for new rims for my 2000 f150. Matte Black or Black chrome.

Recommended Posts

I have these in mind: http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/findWheelDetail.do;jsessionid=qwKxWkWlj4uCQZU3+OSQwg__.dtc306?c=1&rc=WASINT&dVeh=dVeh&bp=&fl=&tc=MBMTKO&yr=2000&pc=46298&wd=16&rw=&rcc=Seattle&vid=024971

Help me find some cool rims. Would like to keep under 150/rim.

I live in canada and will be heading down to seattle in a month or so so I have some room on where to buy from.

They have to be 16's as my stock factory summer tires (yes from 2000) are 16s and are still new basically. Bought the truck 4 months ago with only 27,000 KMS.

5 x 135 w/14mm nut

thanks.

P.S. - NO CHROME!

What width are your factory wheels/tires? I think a 255. So you could throw them on a 8 inch wide wheel pretty much no problem, them get a set of 265's or 275's later down the road... but I've seen these on a few Heritage trucks and they look great. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/usw-044-7835p/overview/

Original tires are 255/70/16. I'm looking at 265/75/16 winter tires for my old rims and I'll throw my summers on the new rims.

On my 04 STX 4x4, factory tires were 255's and I have 265's on it, so you should be perfectly fine. But they are 265/70/R17's...so I have a bit taller tire. You're looking at like a 32 inch tire there, so you could run into rubbing issues at full lock.
