I have a couple of questions for you. 1 - I noticed that you took a bunch of spools of solder, and spun them all together. What is the purpose of that? Another little trick I may add to my bag of tricks. 2 - On those reducers, that was pretty smart of you. I'm wondering now, and will go out and check, if my project db reducers will fit the SHCA 1/0. But beyond that the question is, would just a touch of loc tite help you with the set screw loosening up? Just curious, i don't know much about loc tite. meaning I don't know if it still has the ability to loosen easily when you want it to, not when it wants too. That enclosure is absolutely beautiful. Another little trick I may add to my bag of tricks. I do the same trick. It's so that you dont have to keep un spinning the reel of solder. You only use "6 inches" vs. 6" so to say. It's very convenient. Of coarse you can buy thicker solder, but sometimes the thicker stuff is not 60/40 rosin core, its something like 95/5 so it dont suck into the copper as well unless you flux. Its a local brick and mortar store I ususally buy solder at and its usually $10 for 1lb spool which is rather cheap for oatay, but sometimes like i said they dont have the larger gauge 60/40. I also spin smaller gauge wires like that for things like remote wires or volt gauges, etc. Completely forgot about this thread so Ill update some more pics quick.
