1two3 Posted September 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted September 20, 2013 so i just got back from camping/hunting/fishing for a week and JUST before i left i happened to empty 2 big jugs of pestecides on the floor of my car. i ripped everything out of my car as soon as i realized. i heard alternator whine and was sure that the pesticides ate threw the wires so i did it in quite a hurry. turns out the wires were fine, no damage whats so ever (i guess maybe they were wet or something) but now my car is almost completly gutted with no audio or wires to let the carpet dry. i will be upgrading to 0 gauge when i have the time. will probably do sound deadening before i put eveything back together. and now with riding around with no audio i can hear a lot of noiises while driving that i couldnt hear before. so the box will be on pause for now Car: 2000 Honda CRV Battery: XS Power D5100R Alternator: Stock 90A Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-X9500BHS Front Speakers: Alpine Type S Rear Speakers: JBL GTO 628's Wires: All Knu 4g.
