Tribe Called Bass Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 So i'll be having 4 d3100's in the trunk, and one in the front. I'll be putting 2 runs for each battery(8 runs + speaker amp, so 9-10 total) I'll be fusing each ends, but I'm wondering is, would it be easier to have A distribution block under the hood to limit the amount connections to the front battery? Or go with A bus bar?

I was thinking of running multiple runs for EACH battery to the front hahaha. $170 for 50ft. ARGHH!
twisted1 Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 im running bus bars. I was having a problem with low voltage in the 12.7 while running when i first did mine though.. The problem was i grounded the batts to the cab, but i have a body lift so my truck sits on these plastic blocks now. Well after a couple days i decided to cut a hole in the cab an wire ground lead to the frame, and shazam im back at 14.4 volts running 09 mustang gt
