bbeljefe
Not all 8s have an Fs of 67Hz. And, they don't shut off completely 1 octave below Fs... they start rolling off there. 1two3
That's what I said when I got my 12" but now I need to go to an 8" because the 12" is too loud. Worst comes to worst I'd have to sell the 8" later which shouldn't be too hard, or put it in my car someday. I use the Bash 300 and have never had a problem with the auto on Do u use it for home theater too or just music? Justin248
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1688210571 This receiver has a quality sound, do not let the sony name fool you. Thanks so much. I do have a few more questions for you.... How many tweeter/speakers in total should I buy? And how to wire them? And what enclosure should I put the speakers/tweeter in? Justin248
I currently have one tweeter with one speaker running a 2.1. I am using different tweeters, but I have installed the ones I linked above into cars and they have a nice warm sound. The speaker cabinet themselves are roughly .75ft^3 and ported with a 3x2.5 tuning to around 75Hz. Given the design, these reach down to the mid 40's with authority for a medium sized room, but they really shine from the 80-140hz range as I wanted them to be. Being sealed they really lacked decent output from 200hz down, but that could have also been because they were in .25ft^3 or less.
