SnowDrifter Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 See my sig about dd-1 tracks and my *general* recommendation. Or if you literally want to know how it works, let me know and I'll type up an explanation while I'm at the computer tomorrow As to your crossover: could you be more specific? ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
Kingcuong5o4 Posted September 9, 2013 Author Report Posted September 9, 2013 I wanted to know what it means, as in what if I choose -5 over 0 how it effects sound. I'm going for more of a sq build. I have the crossover for component speakers and it has a switch for -10db -5db and 0db. I'm sorry if I don't make any sense
diegoclass2010 Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 i think hes talking about the crossover setting on the components. pretty much if you play with them it will make your tweeters brighter or flatter i believe. but if i'm wrong someone please correct me
Kingcuong5o4 Posted September 9, 2013 Author Report Posted September 9, 2013 if i change that one the crossover does it effect the way the dd-1 tunes it.
Kingcuong5o4 Posted September 9, 2013 Author Report Posted September 9, 2013 im a total noob with the dd-1
diegoclass2010 Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 no it won't because you would using the dd-1 on the amp, the crossover on the components is just a listening preferences
