Is KnuKonceptz 0 gauge CCA cable good? what are good power cable?

Was wondering is knukonceptz 0 gauge cca cable good enough for what ill be running? im gonna have a XSs3400 under the hood and a D3100 in the back and a aq 3500.1that ill be running i was planning on using the knukonceptz cca wire to do this with can they handle 300 amps? if not is their any good power wires you guys can suggest?

Knukonceptz makes great products, however for that setup to run a single run of 1/0 I would not go with CCA. That CCA is only rated for 250a @ 20 foot. You should look into OFC wiring, but there again you're still limited of the ampacity of the wire. Depending on which aq 3500.1 you have, or if you're looking at the soundqubed 3500.1 you have to remember that that amp does 4300w rms at 1 ohm.

If it were me, I would do two runs of sky high car audio OFC cable. This would give enough ampacity for 4300w rms and for future expansion, like if you add a mids and high amp.

Now you could look at CCA if you go with multiple runs, 2x 250a is 500a. That would be plenty for that setup as well. I would recommend sky high or execution audio(formally Audio Technix.) I have a lot of AT products and I love every last one of them.

knuconceptz also makes OFC cable. I bought some and the quality is great.

When your looking for power cable, pretty much just look for something that is OFC and is actually the gauge it says it is. Some manufacturers will just put a really thick layer of rubber around the copper meaning there is less copper there than there is supposed to be. Look up welding cable, a lot of people use that because its pretty much another word for OFC 0/1 gauge. Sometimes its even bigger (0/2+) and it is usually priced fairly. I didn't know this at the time I bought my cable but I still feel like I paid a fair price. A buddy of mine who does a lot of welding probably could have hooked me up with a shitload of it for cheap though because he can buy stuff like that through his company at cost >_< Oh and flexibility. It may or may not be an issue but with wire that thick it can be pretty stiff which makes it a pain in the ass to route around tight places. The knuconceptz stuff is very flexible.

Since I was just outside messing with it here is something else about the cable I was reminded of. It is made up of tons of tiny little strands and I like to pinch it and twist kind of to sort of round it off so I get get it to fit where it is going better. Be careful if you do this, those little strands are sharp as fuck. I just pulled a few out of my finger. Good thing I have a lot of callouses on my hands because that shit stings when it gets deep enough.

20 foot 2/0 copper weld cable for 32bucks round here. I love mine. Cant tell diffrence in sound or on the meter vs old rockerfosgate 0 guage I had
