CstrokerV Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 cut out another on the other side, box is already built so fuck it. you prob wont be ideal but it would be closer i suppose. Get your max dimensions/sub info/amp info and ask around for a box design. theres some decent guys on here that could help you out. better than polishing a turd :/ if he builds the port with the 45 sq inches the box volume is only going to be like 2 cubes... i would measure how many cubes you have with that 4 more inches and 1 more inch high see what you come up with you need around 4 cubes before port and sub displacment the port is around .8 cubes feet tuned to 35 hz and the 45sq" my build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/142505-small-build-log-4-dc-lvl3-10s-tl-update-link-to-rebuild/ http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/154258-rebuild-6-lvl3-12s-update-small-video-nothing-spectacular/ new build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/188181-03-trailblazer-slow-build-8-dc-lvl3-12-m1-motor-m2-parts/
Tdawgthegreatest Posted September 13, 2013 Author Report Posted September 13, 2013 Yeah I've already bought the sub.

The sub and port would be in the back seat. You need atleast 3" infront of the port dont you? I mean, I'll tune it higher if that'll help. Its for my girlfriend, so she wont even really slam this thing at full power like..ever.
Tdawgthegreatest Posted September 13, 2013 Author Report Posted September 13, 2013 Could I build an external port? Would that be a viable option?
CstrokerV Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 can you do port up... that would give you at least 2.5 to 3 inches forward and how much is the 2 inches over the box my build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/142505-small-build-log-4-dc-lvl3-10s-tl-update-link-to-rebuild/ http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/154258-rebuild-6-lvl3-12s-update-small-video-nothing-spectacular/ new build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/188181-03-trailblazer-slow-build-8-dc-lvl3-12-m1-motor-m2-parts/
CstrokerV Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 yeah extrenal is fine if you can do it my build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/142505-small-build-log-4-dc-lvl3-10s-tl-update-link-to-rebuild/ http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/154258-rebuild-6-lvl3-12s-update-small-video-nothing-spectacular/ new build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/188181-03-trailblazer-slow-build-8-dc-lvl3-12-m1-motor-m2-parts/
Tdawgthegreatest Posted September 13, 2013 Author Report Posted September 13, 2013 Because I was building trim panels on the side of the trunk anyways. But I think I could do a "wrap around" kind of a port if it can be external. And is there any rule against 2 ports?
CstrokerV Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 they will me longer then one single one my build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/142505-small-build-log-4-dc-lvl3-10s-tl-update-link-to-rebuild/ http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/154258-rebuild-6-lvl3-12s-update-small-video-nothing-spectacular/ new build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/188181-03-trailblazer-slow-build-8-dc-lvl3-12-m1-motor-m2-parts/
Tdawgthegreatest Posted September 13, 2013 Author Report Posted September 13, 2013 Hmm, alrighty. I'll play around with that Idea. Then the port would be the length it needs for how small the box is, but also wouldn't take up any footage inside the box.
CstrokerV Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 yeah if you can shove that box in car and take pics we can help you out a little better my build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/142505-small-build-log-4-dc-lvl3-10s-tl-update-link-to-rebuild/ http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/154258-rebuild-6-lvl3-12s-update-small-video-nothing-spectacular/ new build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/188181-03-trailblazer-slow-build-8-dc-lvl3-12-m1-motor-m2-parts/
