i have a caddy cts ,trunk is on the small size

Right now i have 1 12" incriminator audio LI series. May want to up grade in the future to two of those subs.

This is the max size i can go 34"wide 14"height 16" deep

this are the recommended specs for a ported box.

1.75-2.5 cuft port Area 29-40inches tuned to 28-35 Hz

My crrent box is tuned to about 32Hz

Can a Box be made for 2 12's with that size limit

Just those specs come out to 4.4 cubes. That's not accounting for wood thickness, port displacement or sub displacement. I'm on my phone, so I can't use Torres at the moment to get exact specs. But I can safely say no way! Maybe if you used 2 10s?!

Several systems, several vehicles. Always changing!

when you get a chance could you figure the proper size and i'll make a mock up with some cardboard and see if it fits in my trunk.

Thanks

34 x 14 x 25 using 3/4" wood will get you 5.5 cubes before any displacements. but you will only see around 4 cubes after all displacements with a proper port size.

I think even under that depending on how he plans to do it. Slot port will take a lot out of that.

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

5.52 gross. a slot port 4.5 x 12.5 and 28.5" long (measuring the inner most wall of the port for the length) will give you 33hz with a displacement of 1.21 cubes. and then .26 for the subs. 4 cubes net with 14 sq.in. of port per cube.
