Will my box sound/be good for my subs? First box "to be" built by me!

I had a fellow car audio enthusiest help me design a box on here a while ago and now I'm getting closer to building it and have changed it around a bit.

I'm just wondering if it is good for my two Alpine Type R subs (1222D). Paired with an MRP M1000.

It's going in an F150.

Too much volume? Tuned too low? Not high enough? Just right? Some have told me to increase the volume to 4 cu ft net (after port and displacements ect..)

Max space allowed in my truck I have to work with:

Width 33 in

Height 30 in

Depth 15 in (Maxed out already)

looks fine to me. i think i've heard of some people recommending 2 cubes per woofer for type r's, but i couldn't tell you from personal experience.

The 45 in the port should be okay, but the one in the chamber idk about.

Also when you add in the 45's as displacements don't just calculate the wood, measure it out as a triangle. Since the air behind the 45 in the corner won't be helping the volume at all.

The 45 in the chamber won't be that big it'll be as small as possible in all te corners.

What about the "cross" brace in the chamber.

Other suggestions for bracing ? Feel free to edit the pic in paint or something

I would just put the 45 in the port or none at all. There have been many occasions where there have been losses in SPL with them in.

Maybe add a second baffle on top, but everything else seems fine. Most of what you will learn is from testing boxes.

I'm sorry not sure what a "baffle" is.

Edit by 45 in the port you mean at the end of the port (right side in pic)?

So have the baffle (top) twice As thick ( 2 x .75 MDF) stacked on top of each other ?
