crescendo bc5500 and re audio 1000.4 reommendations on electrical

planning on dropping a crescendo bc5500 in a tahoe with a re audi0 1000.4 for the highs. The crescendo will be running at 1 ohm 5800w rms and the re audio will be @ 2 ohm per channel 150w rms x 4 ch. and i still have a memphis mc4.75 .75w rms x4ch @ 4 ohms . thinkin bout throwing that in at some point for extra highs. i want(scratch that) NEED to upgrade electrical so i did some math but i think im goin overkill on what i think i may need. so (watts rms =amperes*volts) right ? so its 6700 total watts rms at 14.4 volts . so 6700/14.4= about 465 amperes right? so im thinking i need at least 465 amperes of current to run this setup am i right?plus what i would need to run the car. heres the problem..i dont want to overkill the electrical upgrades and spend money i dont have to spend. i was thinkin that i will need dual alternators to run this .but theyre over 800 bucks each for the 370a version. and i was also thinking i would need extra batteies maybe two and they cost a little bit less than 400 a piece. DO I NEED ALL OF THIS? can somebody please chime in and make some recommendations on the electrical upgrades..

This may be harsh but why get a ridiculous sound system if you don't want to give it the power it needs to reach its potential. I mean you just spent a lot of money. Why not protect your investment

if you look at most of the big builds the guys spend more on electrical then any thing else combined.

Im pushing around 5800watts on 3 xp3000 an mechman 250amp alt... 14.7 dropping to 13.4ish.. each amp seeing .7ohms an have4 runs of 2/0 weld wire

02 tahoe..5.3 engine..I do want to spend on the electrical..just not overkill..only want to buy what I will need

Why not overkill so you don't have to worry about your electrical being up to par. I'd rather save up and have the proper electrical for the equipment than having to sorry about dropping to low 12s or 11s with a huge chunk of money on just amps. But hey that's just me

That was a bad exapmle, here how about this, would you want an amp that costs over a grand, draws a lot of amperage on a weak electrical system? I guess its just a feeling of assurance for me knowing the amp is getting the power it needs without my electrical straining to keep up with it.

Amps have an operating voltage for a reason. In most cases that voltage is 10-15VDC. Some amps are stable up to 18VDC.

Here is a quote from bcae1-

An unregulated power supply is by far the simplest switch mode power supply (SMPS) used in mobile power amplifiers. The transistor(s) driving each half of the transformer primary winding are driven at full duty cycle. The duty cycle does not change during normal operation. No matter how low or high the battery voltage gets, the duty cycle will not change. Unless, of course, the voltage gets too low to operate. Then the supply control chip will simply quit driving the power supply FETs (the supply will shut down completely). Under normal operating conditions, the no-load rail voltage (amp idling, no audio out) will vary in direct proportion to the battery voltage.
