SA-12 Wire Input Capacity

Recommended Posts

Either would be fine.

You may find the 10ga is much easier to fit in the terminals.

Better off with 14 or 12 gauge, they are very small terminals on the SA series woofer, you probably couldnt even fit two pieces of 12gauge in the terminals if you had to run jumpers from one coil to the next unless you trim a lot of the wire.

That being said 12 gauge wire alone is capable of handling more wattage then the sa series woofer, so running something larger really dont benefit you much but cost more money, and makes it harder to get in the terminals.
