Tnop
Does Anybody in Raleigh NC has a smd distortion detector so I can get a properly tuned system. I had my system tuned by three different shops and they all tune my system by ear and the result was clip city that leads to burnt up woofers .my system consist of 4 pioneer 6.5 speakers and 4 pioneer 6x9 for highs run off of a crescendo 1100.4 and 2 phoenix gold ti2 15s run by a crescendo bc2000. BigManAC
I know you can set it using a volt meter and some math. Take the watts the amp will put out times the ohm load and them take the square root of that number. So a 500w amp running at 2 ohms is 1000 then take the squared which is 31.62v. That is the number that will be coming out of the speaker terminals. Just disconnect the speaker wires and put the meter prongs in and play a test tone with the HU volume up 3/4 of the way and turn the gain up till the meter reads the correct voltage. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
