Menace89
I want to build a wall in my car but before I start i need a port. The wall will be 46"-L 37"-H 24"-D so it'll be 20.5 cu. ft. It will be for 4 15" cerwin vega V-max subs and I would like it to be tuned to 34-37 Hz. Im not going to compete with it, Im just playin music. So if someone could figure out the sq. in. and length of a port for me it would be greatly appreciated. The port cant be longer than my depth tho if thats possible Edited March 1, 2008 by Menace89

Decaf
46"w x 37"h x 24"d 17cuft after displacement of port(so with sub disp its 16cuft even) 213sqin port actual port length is 15.25", length of inner port wall is 11.5" 6" wide port tuned to 37Hz slot port on either left or ride side of box this would need to be reinforced with all thread so the bracing doesnt affect tuning, anything added to the inside of the enclosure will raise the tuning, otherwise if you want it tuned lower pm amatt85 with all ur info or find his thread, he can account for whatever bracing you are doing including dual/triple baffles which i didnt account for Edited March 1, 2008 by decafcappucino

Decaf
i guess i should have mentioned that.... they should be in 2.6 per woofer
Menace89
Cerwin vega enclosure spec says they can be in a 3.5 cu ft box each so I figured 4 cu ft wouldn't hurt. well then ill make the box smaller. it'll be 12 cu ft after port and sub displacement. So if I could get another port calculation that would be great. -thx
