jarrius
You set you subsonic (think that's the right one) to about 32hz and for setting gains you need a dd-1 or a oscilloscope 2012 Chevy sonic1xSQ HDC3 12 D2RF R1200d 140 square foot of Q-Mat(soon to be installed) 140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL 142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at) 141 on music. strangeduck,on 02 Jan 2014 - 01:39 AM, said: when my car spins out i just put the car in neutral, turn in the direction i want to go and pucker my asshole
pioneerforlife
I wouldn't set subsonic that high. Usually you wanna set it 10hz below your tuning frequency, so in your case 28hz. And your low pass filter to about 80 hz. Also to set your gain you don't need a dd-1 or oscilloscope. They would make it 100 times easier but you don't need one. I usually set mine by ear which is a bit hard and takes some time but once you learn how to do it, its fairly easy. It takes time though for example I set my gain over a week long period and finally got it right where it needs to be. I tested it with a dd-1 I borrowed from a friend and it was 98% perfect. Anyways. Subsonic to 28, low pass to 80 or so, and as far as gain dd-1 or oscilloscope would be best but if you don't have access to either you can do it by ear. Just don't use a dmm. They don't work at all. 2007 Ford Focus SES Hatchback Pioneer HU 4 Digital Designs 9515i's in a B pillar. 2 Soundstream XXX 15K's (running at 16 volts) Soundstream Mids/Highs in custom door panels (getting rebuilt soon) Soundstream TA2.160 and TA2.400 Sky High and KNU wiring 3 Banks of Maxwell caps Winston Lithium (not a fan) Bump4Life 250 Amp Alt. aka USAlternators Soundstream Focus and Avenger Build Log Instagram @p4linnovation YouTube: Team Blowin Loud
john253a
For started By the ear-o-meater is crap and fales to get full potential without clipping To say 5 or 10hz under is also wrong for subsonic You want to set to the -3 of you setup Weather it be 1hz to 15hz+ the -3 is where you need to be And same for the upper end with the LPF Depending on your box and mid/high setup I've done systems set at 125hz Without knowing more about system, where just pissing in the wind, But until you can get time to post Bass boost off Gain low like no more then 1/8 LPF approx 70hz Subsonic 35hz if you have This is a very safe setting and should avoid clipping with the little info given

Aj11
dont mean to jump in,but why is tuning with a dmm wrong? everywhere I've ever heard of tuning says use a ddm! and if you have it on your amps use it! i always do it exact on my amps then a Lil higher on my hu. ex if my hpf on my amp is 100hz the setting on my deck is 120hz. but if your deck or amp doesn't have the filter use the other. jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
