mmets
Ran my speaker wire up to the rear doors and to the front doors. Crossovers are just sitting under the back compartment. Box will cover all the wires and power and ground will be off to the side. May be able to put the box in and the 3100 tomorrow, then next weekend if I can get some more nice weather will install the mids and highs. Of course by doing that I will have to do it twice since I will have to second skin the doors but at least it will be better than the stock speakers. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/177477-slowboring-07-trailblazer-build/Pioneer DEH-80PRSPRV 8MR400-NDY (eight) PRV TW350Ti (6)Sky High 1/0 OFC, 12 gauge and 8 gaugeTM Metalworkz battery terminals 120 sqft HushmatXS Power D3100 (6)Singer 350 Amp Alt Singer 320 (2)American Bass SQL3200 JL Audio JX360/4 Crossfire XS 8K (2) DC Audio XL 15s (6)
mmets
took the onstar box out. Never used it and don't think I ever will. Put the 3sixty.3 in its place and ran power to the back, rca's to the back and then to the front. Not in the radio yet but there at least up there. Only have to run my relay wire back and wire for the voltmeter on the drivers side I think. Hope so anyways. My motivation for running wires right now is about none. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/177477-slowboring-07-trailblazer-build/Pioneer DEH-80PRSPRV 8MR400-NDY (eight) PRV TW350Ti (6)Sky High 1/0 OFC, 12 gauge and 8 gaugeTM Metalworkz battery terminals 120 sqft HushmatXS Power D3100 (6)Singer 350 Amp Alt Singer 320 (2)American Bass SQL3200 JL Audio JX360/4 Crossfire XS 8K (2) DC Audio XL 15s (6)

Karkov
Let me know if you have voltage issues (up and down) with or without load because you have that ground sensor thing under the hood and you shouldn't add extra grounds. 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. No issue that I know of yet. Once installed started it up and was at 14.9/15. Still haven't really went anywhere though yet with it. Just been sitting in the driveway. I did know you weren't suppose to do more grounds. Guess I'll just watch it really good just to be on the safe side. I can always take the frame ground and disconnect it from the terminal to see what it does. Maybe I'll look at that tomorrow. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/177477-slowboring-07-trailblazer-build/Pioneer DEH-80PRSPRV 8MR400-NDY (eight) PRV TW350Ti (6)Sky High 1/0 OFC, 12 gauge and 8 gaugeTM Metalworkz battery terminals 120 sqft HushmatXS Power D3100 (6)Singer 350 Amp Alt Singer 320 (2)American Bass SQL3200 JL Audio JX360/4 Crossfire XS 8K (2) DC Audio XL 15s (6)

I got that same dumbass ground sensor and tried adding grounds anyways and my voltage was crazy up and down, maybe not fast or right away, sometimes good for a couple days then it was way low for a long drive etc. but still. I started eliminating grounds one by one hoping I could get it in check and it never acted right until I did what Mechman suggested (I have a Mechman alt) to a *T*. That is just my own personal experience. I even squeezed a 8 guage ground through that sensor as an added body ground and to me it should have worked flawlessly because it went through the sensor right? Wrong. I mean I hope your works without having to remove things but for me i got 1 ground running from Alt case, to battery (through sensor), and then SHCA 2/0 front to back and straight to battery bank, and then bat to batt to batt. Rear batts only grounded to themselves. i tried ground in the rear, amps to grounds and not negative terminals on batts (they are currently on neg terminals on batts) and seriously, for me, there is pretty much only one ground and it starts at the alt, goes through the sensor, and then just links all the batteries in series, any other way (I tried several over the course of weeks/months) and my voltage acted goofy as all hell. That is just my experience, yours could be different and I hope it is. Good luck oh and tuned in, lol 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. mmets
I'll mess with it tomorrow. Still need to put my voltmeter in so will see how that goes. Hopefully it works out ok. I only have two grounds running through that sensor, one 1/0 and the stock one. (not to the body though, I have that separate. Tomorrow I will toss the box in and hook the second battery up. Maybe that will change it. More to follow......... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/177477-slowboring-07-trailblazer-build/Pioneer DEH-80PRSPRV 8MR400-NDY (eight) PRV TW350Ti (6)Sky High 1/0 OFC, 12 gauge and 8 gaugeTM Metalworkz battery terminals 120 sqft HushmatXS Power D3100 (6)Singer 350 Amp Alt Singer 320 (2)American Bass SQL3200 JL Audio JX360/4 Crossfire XS 8K (2) DC Audio XL 15s (6)

Add the 1/0 aftermarket and there's not much room, that's the only reason I squeezed a 8 AWG through (but removed later) 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq.
