electrical advice

Im trying to get a ball park figure on the electrical i need for a amplifier that i been thinking about going with..two bc3500 and a c1100.4. and also i will need a high output alternator for a 09 silveraldo 5.3...any recommendations?

ARe you willing to go with a dual alternator setup or just one alternator? Also how much room do you have for batteries? What ohm load do you plan on running the amps at? All those questions have to be answered before anyone can help make recommendations on electrical. I'm glad you're concerned about electrical though, it's smart to do electrical first then amps because it saves so much headache down the road. I would recommend trying mechman, singer, or Dc power for your alternator. I have a Mechman alternator on my car and everytime the bass drops and the volts barely move I can't help but get a smile on my face, it's so worth it.

i really want to do just one alternator..im taking the back seats out my truck so space for the batteries shouldn't be a problem plus i can put another battery under the hood. i want to run a 1ohm load

I recommend dual alts even though you dont want to. 7kw is a lot of juice and without adequate source power (not reserve) you will always have a battle with voltage drop.
