JeepAndBassXJ
If the car is running the voltage is same at the amp as at the battery, as soon as I burp the system I get voltage loss at the amp. I also yanked on all my soldered connectors and I can't break any connections. Like I said I changed the ground for the amp to go directly to chassis rather than using the ground distribution block and it has helped already. I figgure I need to do the same with the power distribution block but I need to get some good fuse holders first. skittlesRgood
It might be your terminals or connections still. It would be good to post pictures. We've seen a lot of melted fuse/distro blocks and cars that have or almost have, burnt down because of poor connections. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. cloud77
If you run a volt meter make sure it is reading @ the amp side of your inline fuse so you can keep an eye on this. 2004 Grand Prix GT (2) 12" RE XXXs (04/05 XBL^2) 5 cu. ft tuned @ 35 Hz MMATS HD4000.05 MMATS SQ4100 Infinity Kappa components Juice Box black cherry Duralast platinum group 34 1/0 KNU OFC, 2/0 welding Singer 250A
JeepAndBassXJ
I think the distribution blocks are lame and must be the problem, they use cheap set screws to connect the raw wire ends in to the block and the 1/0 gauge wire needs to be cut to a smaller diameter to even fit into the block. They also use mini anl fuses so that could be restricting the flow of current. But they don't get hot nor does the fuse and wires so its connecting but with some resistance I guess. Thanks for the input and hopefully we see some better results after I upgrade all that.
