dog24fret Posted October 28, 2013 Author Report Posted October 28, 2013 Thank you guys everything is noted. Yes the pos side was swollen some. Took the batt to Napa and my bud their tried to charge it on their charger. Immediately went into protect. The battery had 4.2 volts of charge when I took it there. They just replaced it. This is what I did to check for drain or a short right or wrong I don't know. I took one of the batts out of moms wheel chair(lol) and hooked it up to the burp. I did not start the vehicle just checked the voltage before and after. It was on there from 3pm yesterday to 1pm today. The starting voltage was 12.6v and right now it is 12.56v. Is that good? I haven't had to watch one before. But I'm to take the burp in the next day or so to have the alt tested there. Should I wait before hooking up the batt until I go?
