So I just got new tires and went to get the alignment and they tell me one side is shot on tie rods and ball joints. I believe it since its been a minute since they were done. We were just going to do both sides tho since our mechanic said he'd do it all for under $300.

Truck is 1997 dodge dakota sport 4wd 5.2l

Parts needed are

both tie rods both sides

Both ball joints both sides

Shocks both sides

I have heavy duty shocks on back with coils and if possible I'd like to do them. But what's everyone think I should get? I'd like lifetime warranties.

And talking to another mechanic friend he said it might be easier to just do control arm swaps instead of ball joints as its much easier.

Thanks for the help guys.

Bds suspension offers lifetime warranty on all hard parts no questions asked. Never had an issue with anything from them or the warranty process. Prices arent bad either. They have control arms and shocks I'm not sure about tie rods though.

Everythings in the attic or garage since the truck was sold last year. New build should be coming soon in a dodge cummins smile.gif
